MOTOR CONTROL METHOD OF WASHING MACHINE AND WASHING MACHINE USING THE METHOD

A method for controlling a motor of a washing machine and a washing machine employing the same are provided to reduce vibration by differently controlling current of the motor on the basis of rotational speed of the motor and input current of the motor. A method for controlling a motor of a washing machine comprises the steps: sensing load of the laundry; comparing the sensed load with a set load value; controlling current of the motor on the basis of rotational speed of the motor if the sensed load is less than the set load value(S160); and controlling current of the motor on the basis of input current of the motor if the sensed load of laundry is over the set load value.
