An embankment having a floodgate opening and closing function is provided to minimize damage of natural disaster by controlling the discharged amount of river water actively according to the rotated angle of vessel shaped doors through water pressure. An embankment(100) having a floodgate opening and closing function comprises a body(110), and a floodgate(120). The body includes a plurality of projected structures(111,111'). The floodgate has a plurality of vessel shaped doors(121,121') rotatably fixed on curved parts by rotary shafts(130) and formed with draining holes(123) for opening receiving parts(122) to increase discharged amount of river water according to the rotated angle through water pressure, cutoff projections(124) extended upward on the rotary shafts, and a cutoff device(125) rotated by water pressure of the river. |
