A cargo screen fixing structure for an automobile is provided to prevent a gap between a covering shelf side trim and a cargo screen even when the cargo screen is spread by a driver. A cargo screen(300) having hangers with clips is arranged such that the cargo screen is extensible from/retractable into a winding case. A housing cover is joined to both ends of the winding case and fixed at a rear pillar trim. The cargo screen extended from the winding case is kept at a spread state by permitting the clip of the hanger to get caught at one end of a covering shelf side trim(100) mounted on the rear pillar trim. The covering shelf side trim is equipped with a magnet(110), and magnetic bodies(310) are mounted on both ends of the cargo screen such that the magnetic bodies are removable by the magnetic force of the magnet.
