摘要 A light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to maximize a luminous efficiency and minimize an optical loss by binding a photonic crystal structure including a porous alumina layer. A light emitting device(100) includes a semiconductor substrate(110), a light emitting layer(120), a transparent electrode(130), a porous alumina layer(140), and a light transmission layer(145). The light emitting layer is positioned on the semiconductor substrate and nanoparticles of metal oxide are distributed in a polymer thin film as light emitting media. The transparent electrode is positioned on the light emitting layer and transmits light emitted from the light emitting layer. The porous alumina layer is positioned on the transparent electrode. The light emitting layer is positioned on the porous alumina layer. The polymer is polyimide. The transparent electrode is an ITO electrode. The nanoparticles of metal oxide are any one of CyO, ZnO, and SnO2.
