Disclosed is a method for producing an electromagnetic shielding material wherein a conductive paste containing silver particles whose surfaces are covered with silver oxide, a binder and a solvent is screen-printed in a geometric pattern on the surface of a transparent porous layer, which contains at least one substance selected from the group consisting of oxide ceramics, non-oxide ceramics and metals as the main component, of a transparent resin base, and then subjected to a heat treatment, thereby forming a conductive part of geometric pattern on the surface of the transparent porous layer. An electromagnetic shielding material produced by such a method has a high electromagnetic shielding effect while being excellent in transparency and vision therethrough. |
