The method involves connecting fleets (22) to a mounting thread (24), which is connected to a floatation or sinker line (26) by loops (30). A hole (32) is formed in the mounting thread, where a portion of the mounting thread is introduced in the hole. The loops are threaded on a tire-cable, and an end of the mounting thread is connected to the floatation or sinker line when the mounting thread extends along the floatation or sinker line. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a pre-assembly for assembling a net (2) a net obtained from a pre-assembly.
