The pushchair (10) has a frame in two folding halves (12, 12') with front (16) and rear (22) wheels. It differs by having a folding transverse bar (70) in two pivoted sections (71) linked to the frame halves and equipped with a lock (80). The lock has locking and unlocking components fixed to the two bar sections, the unlocking component being operated by a cable and a lever (21) on one of the pushchair's handles (46). The pushchair's rear wheels are fitted with a foot-operated brake.
