摘要 An intelligent system and a method for monitoring a reactive power limit value of a power generator by using machine model parameters are provided to prevent an accident and to offer reactive power of the power generator to a power system stably by monitoring a maximum reactive power limit value estimated at a present operation point by an OEL(Over Excitation Limiter). In an intelligent system for monitoring a reactive power limit value of a power generator(1) by using machine model parameters, a real-time phasor measurement system(5) converts data measured from a three-phase power line connected with the power generator through a current transformer(3) and a voltage transformer(4), by a phasor and then calculates terminal voltage, terminal current, reactive power, and effective power of an effective value. A host computer(6) calculates the reactive power limit value of the power generator by using a machine model parameter including at least one of RMS(Root Mean Square) data, one machine infinite bus and D-axis synchronous reactance(Xd), Q-axis synchronous reactance(Xq), D-axis transient reactance(Xd'), Q-axis transient reactance(Xq'), subtransient reactance(X''), leakage reactance(X1), and saturation factors(S(1.0),S(1,2)).
