There is provided an electro-chemical element electrode capable of obtaining an electro-chemical element having a low internal resistance and a high capacity. An electric double-layer capacitor and a secondary cell having the electrode are also provided.The electro-chemical element electrode has an active material layer formed on a current collector. The active material layer is formed by binding highly-strong composite particles containing an electrode active material, a conductive material, a dispersion-type binding agent, and a solution-type resin, wherein the electrode active material and the conductive material are bound by the dispersion-type binding agent. The composite particles are pressure-molded by such a weak pressure that the composite particles are not substantially broken and mutually bound while maintaining the structure of the composite particles. By using the electrode, the electric double-layer capacitor and the secondary cell can be obtained. |
