<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a musical instrument not to interfere a mechanism for maintaining a stand in a supportable attitude without receiving restriction of rightward and leftward lengths and bottom face shape of the musical instrument in supporting the musical instrument in use while allowing it to be folded up in non-use to shorten the rightward and leftward lengths. <P>SOLUTION: An upper foldable pipe body UP is foladably composed in a vertical direction, and is rotatable on support pillars 21 and 22. In a folded state of the stand 20, pipes UPL and UPR are neared to the support pillars 21 and 22. Rear side receiving parts 46 and 47 attaching cushion parts 48 and 49 on an upper part are protruded on each rear part 43 and 45 of the pipes UPL and UPR and the cushion parts 48 and 49 directly support the bottom face of the musical instrument body 10.
