<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing control system for a vehicle door, which restrains the door during opening/closing from coming into contact with an occupant near the door due to the oversight of an operator far away from a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This opening/closing control system comprises a transmitter 2 for transmitting a door opening/closing signal d, and an in-vehicle machine 3 for controlling actuator motors 35a and 35b by receiving the signal. A distance to the transmitter 2 is detected on the basis of the intensity of the reception of the door opening/closing signal d by reception antennae 32 and 33. When the detected distance is equivalent to/falls below a set value in the reception of the door opening/closing signal d for closing sliding doors 12a and 12b, the actuator motors 35a and 35b are actuated. When the detected distance does not exceed the set value, the actuator motors are not actuated. In the reception of the door opening/closing signal d for opening the sliding doors 12a and 12b, the actuator motors 35a and 35b are actuated without reference to the detected distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
