PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for simply obtaining data in data from a peripheral unit capable of displaying the data in relation to the data fetched from an image forming unit. SOLUTION: The image forming unit communicating with the peripheral unit includes a reading means for reading a manuscript; a generation means for generating a data corresponding to the manuscript read by the above reading means; an acquisition means for acquiring data provided in the peripheral unit; a management means for managing the data generated by the above generation means, and the data acquired from the peripheral unit by the above acquisition means, as display data for displaying in a relational manner; and a transmission means for transmitting the display data managed by the above management means to an external information processing unit.
