PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste heat-treatment device capable of efficiently drying waste prior to heat treatment without increasing a size of the device. SOLUTION: In this waste heat-treatment device having a furnace main body 1 performing heat treatment of waste, and a charging chute 2 for charging the waste into the furnace main body 1, the charging chute 2 has a jacket 8 for circulating a high-temperature gas, and a suction device 11 disposed at an upper position with respect to the jacket 8, and sucking and discharging the air in the charging chute 2.
