PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incinerator capable of efficiently burning various burnt objects. SOLUTION: This incinerator 100 comprises a burnt object shoving device 10 for shoving the burnt object 70 into a furnace main body 2, a diffuser tube 20 for jetting combustion air toward the burnt object 70 in the furnace main body 2 in the direction approximately opposite to the shoving direction of the burnt object 70, an auxiliary burner 25 disposed near a diffuser tube installation position, and jetting a flame C1 toward the burnt object 70 in the furnace main body 2 in the direction approximately same as the jetting direction of the combustion air A1 jetted from the diffuser tube 20, and a combustion exhaust gas discharge port 8 formed near the diffuser tube and the auxiliary burner installation position and discharging the combustion exhaust gas B1. The furnace main body 2 is formed into the cylindrical shape, horizontally installed, and supported rotatably on a shaft.
