ACTIVE PIPE BRANCH JOINT FOR SYNTHETIC RESIN PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely drill a main pipe during the drilling in a branch joint for a synthetic resin pipe for taking out the branch pipe by drilling at the portion offset from the axis of the main pipe. SOLUTION: This branch joint 1 comprises a saddle part 2 stretched over the synthetic resin main pipe, a branch pipe accepting part 3 for accepting the branch pipe, a drilled pipe part 4 connected to a drilling tool in which a cutter for drilling an air hole in the portion of the main pipe crossing the branch pipe accepting part by so moving forward it as to cross perpendicular to the main pipe at the position offset more than the axis of the main pipe is stored, and a structural body for sealing the inner peripheral surface of the saddle part to the main pipe. A main pipe support part 22 and a cutter storage groove part 24 in which the end of a cutter is stored when the cutter reaches the bottom of the drilled pipe part are formed in the drilled pipe part 4.
