PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable performance scroll fluid machine capable of preventing damage caused by the deterioration of performance caused by an influence of the thermal expansion and the thermal contraction and contact of a scroll lap part and an end plate. SOLUTION: By preventing a low temperature operation state by heating a fixed frame 2, a turning scroll 1 or a motor frame 14 by a heater 15, reduction in a thrust clearance H is restrained, the contact and damage of the scroll lap part and the end plate can be avoided, and the initial setting of the thrust clearance can be made small.
