PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a glass melting apparatus which is made possible to continuously and stably manufacture glass by imparting quake resistance to a glass melting apparatus which has been fragile to strong quake in an earthquake; a method for manufacturing glass; and a method for manufacturing a glass product. SOLUTION: A furnace 1 is constructed by stacking refractory members while holding the members with a holding material 3, and at the same time, a reinforcing structure 2, which has a three-dimensional structure having excellent rigidity and is built up solidly so that the three-dimensional structure does not deform even if a strong quake occurs and a large external force is applied to it in an earthquake, is arranged to surround the periphery of the furnace 1. The holding material 3 is fixed to the reinforcing structure 2 in such a manner that the volume change of the furnace 1 due to expansion and contraction is allowed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
