PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the drawbacks of a conventional vacuum cleaner that a cylindrical body is instable and it is difficult to clean the inside of a dust collecting case since the vacuum cleaner is provided with a slidable cylindrical body inside a dust case and the cylindrical body whose movement is regulated is freely slid inside the dust case when a front lid is opened. SOLUTION: In the vacuum cleaner comprising an opening/closing lid provided at an opening of the dust collecting case so as to be freely opened and closed and a locking means for locking the opening/closing lid so as to close the opening of the dust collecting case, a moving member is provided inside the dust collecting case, and the locking means can lock the moving member.
