The oscillator arrangement (100) has an oscillator carrier unit for carrying an integrated circuit (103) and a cavity resonator (101) with a mounting frame (102). The mounting frame is attached on the carrier unit, where the carrier unit and the resonator are mounted on the carrier unit by the mounting frame. The integrated circuit, the resonator and the mounting frame are arranged on a same side of the arrangement. The resonator is provided external to the integrated circuit, and serves as a housing apart from its electrical function. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an oscillator arrangement.
