FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method can be used for physical and chemical analysis and for controlling purity of crystalline and electric insulating materials in the process of using them in aggressive media. The method of determining concentration of alkaline and acidic media in solid bodies and electric insulating materials lies in that, a sample of the analysed material, located in an aggressive acidic or alkaline medium, is heated to a temperature, not higher than melting temperature. An electric field is applied to the sample and polarisation is carried out for a period of time, longer than relaxation time at the given temperature. After that, without turning off the electric field, the sample is cooled to a temperature at which thermo-activation processes in the material do not practically stop. The field is then switched off and linear heating of the sample is carried out to a temperature higher than polarisation temperature. Only the last but one maximum on the "" spectrum is investigated. The value of this maximum is measured and the sought concentration is found on a graduated graph. The type of the aggressive medium is determined from the shift of the maximum before the last to high (alkaline media) or low (acidic medium) temperatures. ^ EFFECT: determination of concentration of acid or alkali in solid bodies and electric insulating materials on the linear relationship of the density of "" of the maximum before the last, as well as the type of the aggressive medium. ^ 5 dwg |
