A door-lock safety interception method and an interception device of electric home appliances are provided to stop the operation of electric home appliances at once according to the normal or abnormal separation of a latch by point-contacting or short-circuiting a fixing plate through the insertion and separation of the latch. In a door-lock safety interception device of electric home appliances, a housing(200) is equipped with a PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient) containing unit(550), a contact unit(500), a solenoid(600), a cam housing(700) operated by the solenoid, and a locker(800) operated by the cam housing. A cover is combined with the housing and includes a latch opening unit(310) to which a latch is inserted. A locker opening unit is formed at the upper end of the cover. The locker is inserted or projected through the locker opening unit by a vertical motion. A latch slide(400) has a latch slide spring unit(410) formed at the upper part of the cover and pushed by the inserted latch to support the latch elastically. A bimetal contact point(c), other contact point(d) of a solenoid contact point, a contact point(e), and a fixing plate contact point(f) are formed at the contact unit. A fixing plate(520) is short-circuited by dividing fixed plate external and internal terminals(521,522). A fixing plate switch(900) contacts the separated fixing plates to each other. A switch rod(920) of the fixing plate switch is protruded toward the inside of the latch opening unit.
