A start-up certification device is provided to perform a start-up certification process through a hardware system only when a vehicle key is inserted. In a MOST(Media Oriented System Transport) network, a plurality of multimedia devices are connected into a ring structure through an optical cable. The optical cable has a disconnected portion which is formed by cutting the path of the ring. A vehicle key(30) has a slot(36) having a transmitting hole and a receiving hole. The vehicle key is inserted into the disconnected portion such that the slot of the vehicle key connects the transmission path between disconnected optical cables, and multimedia devices operate.
