<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection accuracy verification system capable of verifying whether a defect to be detected can be detected properly by a printed matter inspection system easily and accurately. <P>SOLUTION: The inspection accuracy verification system for verifying the inspection accuracy of printed matter inspection system that inspects whether or not there is a defect in a printed matter based on a photographed image of the printed matter comprises a pseudo-defect editing means for editing pseudo-defect data in which a pseudo-defect image and a printing location for evaluating the inspection accuracy are described, a pseudo-defect printing means for printing the pseudo-defect on printed matter based on the pseudo-defect data, and an inspection accuracy evaluation means for generating inspection accuracy evaluation data based on the defect detection data generated by the inspection of the printed matter by the printed matter inspection system and pseudo-defect data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
