PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technologies for sequentially updating a recording medium so that sub contents relating to a video image that is main contents recorded on the recording medium, can be reproduced as if being stored on the recording medium.

SOLUTION: When a video image that is main contents recorded on an optical disk 100 is completely reproduced, in accordance with bind definition designation information stored on the optical disk 100, a content server 110 is accessed. Bind definition information with link information described for accessing sub contents such as privilege video stored in the contents server 110 is then downloaded. On the basis of the downloaded bind definition information, the link information for accessing the sub contents is then stored within the optical disk 100, so that the sub contents can be reproduced.
