<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of failure diagnoses in a remote failure diagnostic system. <P>SOLUTION: This remote failure diagnostic system includes a vehicle 110 configured to transmit the vehicle data of stress factors of a predetermined in-vehicle parts with the established timing and a failure diagnosis server 101 which is connected with the vehicle 110 through a network 130 to store the vehicle data transmitted from the vehicle 110 and performs failure diagnoses of the in-vehicle parts of the vehicle 110 based on the stored vehicle data. A failure diagnosis server 101 determines an alarm level based on the received vehicle data from the vehicle 110 and selects a failure diagnostic program corresponding to the determined alarm level to transmit to the vehicle 110.
