<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight system for a motorcycle with high safety capable of distributing light according to a bank angle after entering a corner by irradiating a corner side with light immediately before entering the corner to heighten visibility on the corner side. <P>SOLUTION: A cornering lamp 20 comprises a lighting unit 30A irradiating a side of a low beam with light according to corner entering signals, and lighting units 30B, 30C irradiating an upper part of the low beams with light according to cornering signals. The cornering lamp 20 continues to secure distant visibility by irradiating enough lights in a curve direction even in a not banking state of a motorcycle immediately before the curve, or in a banking state after entering the curve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
