PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program guide creating apparatus, a program guide creating method, a program guide creating program, a storage medium, and a television receiver for easily comparing program information to be compared even when they are located apart from each other in comparing the program information displayed on a program guide. SOLUTION: An arithmetic control means as the program guide creating apparatus is provided with a controller 81 and a memory. The controller 81 includes: a list program guide creating section 81 for acquiring program information from EPG information and creating a list program guide whose program information can be displayed on a display means; a duplicate program information acquisition section 813 that acquires each duplicate program information whose broadcast time zone is overlapped with a broadcast time zone of program information selected from the list program guide by a viewer and whose channel number is different from the channel number of the program information from the EPG information; and a duplicate program guide creating section 814 for creating a duplicate program guide whose duplicate program information can be displayed on the display means.
