<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector which has a simple structure, a low height of 2.0mm or less and is excellent in safety. <P>SOLUTION: The card connector 10 which a memory card 60 can be freely inserted into and removed from is provided with a contact 14 contacting with a connection part of the memory card 60 and a housing 12 in which the contact is arranged and held. A metal plate 16 is fixed to extrude toward both sides of the housing 12 in a width-wise direction and the metal plate 16 is provided with a connecting part 163 to be integrally connected with a base plate, and a metallic tray 18 is provided for housing a plurality of memory cards 60 and one end part in a width-wise direction of the tray is bent in an approximate L shape and the bent part 26 is engaged slidable on the metal plate 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
