PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pressure controller for a belt type continuously variable transmission capable of improving fuel economy by controlling low pressure even if using an existing linear solenoid. SOLUTION: This oil pressure controller for the belt type continuously variable transmission is provided with the belt type continuously variable transmission provided with a pair of driving side pulleys composed of a driving side movable pulley and a driving side fixed pulley, a pair of driven side pulleys composed of a driven side movable pulley and a driven side fixed pulley, and a belt stretched over the driving side pulleys and the driven side pulleys to change speed in a stepless manner by moving the driving side movable pulley and the driven side movable pulley by pulley pressure and changing widths of grooves of the driving side pulleys and the driven side pulleys and a solenoid valve having a linear region where the change of pulley pressure for the change of a command current value is large and a low pressure dead zone region where the change of pulley pressure for the change of the command current value is small to adjust pulley pressure in accordance with the command current value. This oil pressure controller is provided with a low pressure control means for controlling low pulley pressure by using the low pressure dead zone region. The low pressure control means has a low pressure control permission determining part 221, an integration gain storage part 222 for controlling low pressure, an integration gain storage part 223 for normal control, and an integration gain switching part 224 in addition to each part 211 to 217 that a normal control means 210 has.
