PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an ejection head to be inexpensively washed without using an expensive functional liquid as much as possible when a delivering defect is generated in a liquid delivering apparatus, and to attain full recovery by washing even the interior of the delivering head. SOLUTION: The liquid delivering apparatus such as an inkjet recorder is equipped with an ink cartridge (functional liquid storing part) 78 which stores ink (the functional liquid), a washing liquid cartridge (washing liquid storing part) 80 which stores the washing liquid, the delivering head such as an inkjet head which delivers the liquid from a nozzle 84, a functional liquid feeding passage 82 which guides the ink in the ink cartridge as a delivering liquid to the nozzle of the delivering head, a washing liquid feeding passage 83 which guides the washing liquid in the washing liquid cartridge as a delivering liquid to the nozzle of the delivering head, and a delivering liquid switching means 65 which switches the delivering liquid delivered from the delivering head by selecting either one of the functional liquid feeding passage or the washing liquid feeding passage.
