PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin sorter capable of sorting a plurality of kinds of coins with a simple structure while saving occupancy space, and to provide a coin detector and a vendor. SOLUTION: A coin upper guide path 3A is provided with a rocking member 13. The rocking member 13 includes a base part 14 capable of rocking within an approximately vertical plane, a contact part 15 formed above the base part 14, and a direction switching part 16 formed below the base part 14. When a ten-yen coin larger than prescribed dimensions passes the coin upper guide path 3A, the outer periphery of the 10-yen coin is brought into contact with the contact part 15 and pushes up the rocking member 13 to rock it upward, and a guide face 16A of the direction switching part 16 is made to project out of a first coin guide face 6A. The ten-yen coin moves along the guide face 16A in a perpendicular direction of the coin and drops to a coin entrance 31B for 10-yen coin. Since the 10-yen coin is sorted by the operation of the rocking member 13 due to contact with the contact part 15 of the 10-yen coin, the coin can be surely sorted with the simple structure.
