PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver state determination device capable of highly precisely detecting an abnormal state of a driver. SOLUTION: The driver state detector includes a driving state determination ECU 2 for obtaining an evaluation of a driving state and a right/left turn trajectory operation ECU 3 for obtaining an evaluation during right/left turn. The driving state determination ECU 2 and the right/left turn trajectory ECU 3 output obtained evaluations to a vacant state determination ECU 5. Criterion running states being criteria for these evaluations are stored in a normal driving data recording part 4, and these criterion running states are outputted to the vacant state determination ECU 5. The vacant state determination ECU 5 compares evaluations outputted from the driving state determination ECU 2 and the right/left turn trajectory ECU 3 with criterion running state outputted from the normal driving data recording part 4 to determine a vacant driving state of the driver.
