PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet device which keeps a toilet cover out of a way when a user of the toilet device washes the hands. SOLUTION: The toilet device is formed of a toilet bowl body 11, the toilet cover 13, a low tank for storing flushing water therein, and a hand-wash device 30 arranged on the low tank. Then a control section 101 of the toilet device operatively connects the closure of the toilet cover 13 by an opening/closing device 131 to toilet bowl flushing by a flushing device 201 and the subsequent spouting of the hand-wash device 30.
