PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shear reinforcing structure and a shear reinforcing method shortening a construction period, reducing cost and reducing a projecting dimension from the surface of a concrete body to be reinforced. SOLUTION: In the shear reinforcing structure for mounting shear reinforcing members 2 to the concrete body 1 for shear reinforcement, a reinforcing member of T-shaped cross section formed by providing a plate-like flange part 2a protrusively with a plate-like web part 2b is used as the shear reinforcing member 2, and slit-like grooves 3 are cut in the concrete body 1 to install each shear reinforcing member 2 by bringing the flange part 2a into face contact with the surface of the concrete body 1 while inserting the web part 2b into the groove 3.
