A device for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots consists of the main frame, a feed conveyer, a baffle brush, a cleaner, made as a hollow cone, a rotary heap distributor, those are mounted in series, and also of an unloading conveyer. A drive hollow cone is mounted inside the frame at right angle to horizontal plane thereof. The frame is made as the rotary one, on two axles arranged in the middle thereof in the vertical plane, and is connected to the drive of oscillatory movement. The rotary heap distributor is made as a drive projecting shaft arranged from below, at the end of which in a spherical hinge the upper ends of inclined chute boards, which together form a conic surface directed by vortex upwards, are fixed. The lower ends of the chute boards are connected to the shaft by mechanisms of changing and fixing position thereof relative to the shaft. The outer surfaces of the hollow cone contain rows of elastic rods. |
