<p>An automatic transmission is provided to prevent oil from directly arriving at a dropping unit on a case side and entering into an air breather room by installing a slant shield rib toward a differential apparatus on a lower portion of the dropping unit at the case side. A transmission housing(2) accommodates plural rotators. An air breather room(90) is installed in the transmission housing to separate bubble containing oil into oil and air. An air breather hole(100) passes through the transmission housing to connect the air breather room with an outside of the transmission housing. An opening unit connects an inside of the transmission housing and an inside of the air breather room. A slant shield rib(50) is formed on a lower portion of the opening unit. The shield rib is extended from the transmission housing. An upper surface of the shield rib declines downwardly toward the rotator. The shield rib prevents the oil in the transmission housing from directly arriving at the opening unit. The oil dropped from the opening unit is loaded on an upper surface of the shield rib. The oil is supplied toward the rotator by a slope of the shield rib.</p> |
