<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a controller for alternating-current rotary machine that is capable of controlling an actuator through a simple and inexpensive mechanism, without the need for a position detecting means. <P>SOLUTION: An alternating-current rotary machine includes a stator with a coil wound thereon and a rotor 103. The stator is divided into a first rotor 101, whose circumferential position is variable and a second stator 102, whose circumferential position is fixed. The controller for this rotary machine includes an actuator 2, that drives the first stator 101 and thereby regulates voltage induced in the coil of the stator based on the rotor 103; a magnetic flux command computing means 15 for computing the desired magnetic flux amplitude command, based on the rotational speed of the alternating-current rotary machine 1; a magnetic flux estimator 10 for computing the estimated magnetic flux amplitude of the alternating-current rotary machine 1; a speed command computing unit 12 for computing the actuator speed command for the actuator 2 so that the estimated magnetic flux amplitude follows the magnetic flux amplitude command; and an actuator controlling means 14 for controlling the actuator 2 based on the actuator speed command. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
