<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out printing without impairing security, while using a printer other than a secure printer. <P>SOLUTION: If a secure application 3 instructs secure data 2 to be printed using a general output device 10, an access right is first checked by a security management server 4. Once it is checked, a header to a secure output device 5 is added to printing data for the general output device 10 and capsulated printing data is created and sent to the secure output device 5. The user's access right is also checked at the secure output device 5 and a log is also checked.
