PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to grasp the plan of program viewing as an image, and to select his or her desired program which the user frequently views without being confused by such information as the other programs. SOLUTION: Each time a program is viewed according to the operation of a remote controller 7, a taste analysis processing part 4 acquires the program characteristic information of the program from an EPG information acquisition part 2, and acquires the viewing time of the program, and performs the analysis processing of them for searching and storing the degree of tastes of the program characteristic information. When the instruction of EPG display is made by the remote controller 7, an EPG preparation part 5 acquires program characteristic information with the high degree of tastes stored in the taste analysis processing part 4, and detects the program having the program information matched with the program characteristic information from the EPG information of the EPG information acquisition part 2, and forms the EPG of the program from the format of the two-dimensional array of the conventional channel axis and time axis, and makes a display picture display it.
