PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tomography imaging photographing apparatus capable of more quickly setting the optimum photographic conditions using a simple operation that does not require skills. SOLUTION: An optical camera 12 for photographing a subject W from the direction set along the rotating shaft R of a turntable 3 for applying rotation to the subject W is provided, and the distance SOD between the turntable 3 and an X-ray focus 1a is set automatically, by indicating the photographing region C of the tomographic image on the optical image of the subject W due to the optical camera 12, while several kinds of tube currents and the presence of the mounting of a metal filter 2 are prepared as an X-ray condition; and the subject W is irradiated with X rays in a state of being mounted on the turntable 3 under tube voltage becoming a predetermined ratio of the full range in the output level of an X-ray detector 2, with respect to then and a condition becoming maximum in the difference between the darkest and brightest levels at an angle of rotation that is hardest to transmit X rays in respective X-ray conditions is set automatically as the optimum conditions.
