PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase capable of freely setting a heating area and a cooling area without raising maximum electric power consumption. SOLUTION: The showcase is provided with a showcase body 10 with an article storage part 17 formed in an inner side, a cooling device providing cold air to the article storage part 17, one or more article shelves 20 arranged in the article storage part 17, article shelf heaters 23 attached to the article shelves 20, and a controller 60 controlling electric power supply to the cooling device and the article shelf heaters 23. The controller 60 controls electric power supply to the article shelf heaters 23 such that electric power consumption of the article shelf heaters 23 is reduced during energization to the cooling device.
