PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus supporting an operator in recognizing an image and improving the efficiency in the X-ray examination by additionally displaying image information, which cannot be easily displayed on an X-ray image though useful for the diagnosis in the interventional radiology (IVR), as a reference image with high contrast; and a method of processing data in the X-ray diagnostic apparatus. SOLUTION: The X-ray diagnostic apparatus 20 comprises a simulated X-ray image generating means 33 for generating a simulated X-ray image projected on the detection face of an X-ray detector of a virtual X-ray diagnostic apparatus from three-dimensional image data of a subject P; X-ray image collecting means 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 for collecting X-ray images of the subject P by performing the X-ray photography; and a display means 30 for displaying the X-ray images and the simulated X-ray image.
