PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial nails and methods of forming artificial nails, more particularly, methods for forming artificial nails by injection molding and artificial nails formed according to the method. SOLUTION: This artificial nail is formed of a first section and a second section. The first section and the second section are adjacent to one another. One of the sections defines a front distal tip of the artificial nail, and is formed by injecting a quantity of heated material under pressure from a nozzle into a sprue through a cavity gate into a mold cavity.
