PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee imaging operation during image data transmission, and to achieve efficient radio communication. SOLUTION: A digital camera performs a photographing processing for photographing an object and applying image processing to obtained image data and a communication processing for transmitting image data to external equipment by means of the same CPU and in the digital camera, a processing collision detecting section 205 detects that a period for executing predetermined processing included in the imaging is overlapped with a period for executing the communication processing. When it is detected that both the execution periods are overlapped, a processing control section 204 deviates the execution period of the communication processing so that the execution period of the communication processing is not overlapped with the period for executing the predetermined processing.
