PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the vibration of a steering system by the reverse input. SOLUTION: It is determined whether or not any vibration is generated in a steering system by the reverse input from a wheel side based on the sign or the phase of the differentiated valueτof the steering torque and the rotational angular velocityωof a motor.
