PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work scaffolding easily mounted to a ladder and ensuring sufficiently high safety. SOLUTION: The scaffolding A comprises a scaffolding board 12 and a pair of vertical members 11. The scaffolding board 12 is turnably supported to the vertical members 11 through hinges provided in predetermined positions of both side faces. Both longitudinal end parts of each vertical member 11 are formed with locking parts 14, 15 formed of a pair of approximately U-shaped curved surfaces locked to cross bars 2, 3, 4 provided at the ladder. The upper locking part 14 transmits the weight of the scaffolding A to the cross bar 2 and restrains the longitudinal movement of the scaffolding A relative to the ladder. The lower locking part 15 is formed sufficiently long in the length of a vertical piece 11b in comparison with the length of a vertical piece of the upper locking part 14, and engaged with the cross bars 3, 4 to restrain the longitudinal movement of the scaffolding A relative to the ladder.
