PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a helmet (ideal helmet) having high true safety älegal safety-[anti-safety = bad effects of heat such as deterioration of operation efficiency or heat stroke]}. SOLUTION: The helmet consists in adoption of a cushioning member. That is, the true object (helmet having high true safety = ideal helmet) of the helmet can be achieved with the cushioning member in the same manner as the achieving of respective objects of vehicles such as automobiles or bulletproof jackets with the cushioning member. Specifically, a tunnel part 3 for discharging the heat is provided in the top of the helmet body and the cushioning member is provided in the upper part of the tunnel part. The rear of the cushioning member is a freely bent or restored part bent or restored and the ideal helmet can be achieved by providing a receiving member 6, an intermediate rib, etc., for receiving the right or left sides or both sides of the freely bent part or restored part when the freely bent and restored part is bent downward.
