PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle plate with a liquid repellent film which has excellent adhesiveness and durability. SOLUTION: This nozzle plate comprises a nozzle forming base which carries a nozzle for discharging liquid droplets, a porous layer with a plurality of pores and a liquid repellent layer formed of a fluororesin. In addition, the porous layer and the liquid repellent layer overlying in that order the liquid droplet discharge side of the nozzle forming base, and the pores of the porous layer is open on the liquid repellent layer side.
