PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary valve with an excellent corrosion-resistance property capable of outstandingly reducing a noise caused by a friction sound and outstandingly reducing a maintenance work. SOLUTION: This rotary valve 10 is provided with a casing 11, a rotor 12 rotatably stored in this casing 11, and a rotation shaft 13 for rotating this rotor 12. The rotor 12 has a cylindrical rotor body 12A, and end plates 12B, 12C for closing both ends of this rotor body 12A, and an opening part 12D which becomes an entrance/exit of a granular material is formed on a part of a peripheral surface of the rotor body 12A. In the casing 11 and the rotor 12, portions contacting with the granular material are formed of a fluorine based resin with a sliding property and a corrosion-resistance property.
