<p>A wound-covering material which is suitable for use in a method in which a wound is treated while maintaining a wet environment caused by a fluid oozing from the wound, and which is more improved. The wound-covering material is composed of at least three layers. It comprises first, second, and third layers superposed and united in this order from the side to be in contact with a wound part. The first layer (1) comprises a resinous sheet material having many through-holes extending in the thickness direction. The second layer (2) comprises a sheet material which has water-repellent surfaces and becomes water-permeable upon pressing. The third layer (3) comprises a sheet material capable of absorbing and holding water. According to need, the wound-covering material (5) further has a fourth layer (4) comprising a resin film, fabric, or nonwoven fabric superposed and united therewith.</p> |
